For the first time in months, the active case count in the SWPH region is under 100 after 32 new cases were reported over the long weekend, 47 resolved cases and another COVID-19 related death.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 32 new cases of COVID-19 from the weekend, 47 resolved cases and one additional death.
The deceased is a man in his 70's from Oxford County and is not related to any outbreaks.

Four people are currently being treated for the virus at the hospital and two of those patients are in the ICU.
The outbreak at the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Woodstock has been declared over. The outbreak remains at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. A total of 14 patients and 5 staff members have tested positive at the hospital and 2 people have died.
