UPDATE: Police have made over 70 arrests at the protest in Downtown Ottawa and towed 21 vehicles.
Police say at this point they have had no need to interact with Children's Aid due to children in the crowd. Police Chief Steve Ball is urging parents to get your children out of the downtown core right now, says he's alarmed how many parents would put their children in harms way.
Ball says the goal is to get protestors to move on their own accord, they have created a safety path down Sussex Drive as police continue to move in on protestors.
Police have not heard any reports of injuries to protestors today, one officer was injured but it was very minor in nature.
