Attendees will be served tea or coffee and hot crossed buns prior to the egg hunt
TILLSONBURG - A special edition Easter Egg Hunt is taking place at The Tillsonburg Museum.
On April 4th, join the museum as they host their first ever Tea & Easter Egg Hunt
Culture and Heritage Manager and Museum Curator Patricia Phelps says that the new Easter event is in celebration of their 50-year anniversary.
" We haven't always been at Annandale House. We had another location, and moved here in 1959. So, we have been here for a good part of our 50 years."
Attendees will be served tea or coffee and hot crossed buns prior to the egg hunt. They will also receive an Easter basket.
Phelps added that there will be a one-time chance for patrons during the egg hunt.
"Staff has hidden plastic Easter eggs filled with Easter goodies. And you will actually be able to go behind the no passing rope to find the Easter eggs for your basket."
The event runs from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased online here, or by by calling the museum at 519-842-2294.
