The costs from changing IT providers is starting to slow down in Tillsonburg. The town racked up over $52,000 in expenses in October, in the days after town council decided to cancel their contracts with INS Solutions. In November's report on the change-over, $9000 was spent. The town's CAO David Samis says most of that, $5,400 was spent of staffing, which will make up the bulk of the costs moving forward. The town has plans on hiring a new Information Technology Manager to replace the work INS was hired to do. Council has requested that an update be given on the costs at every meeting until they are completed.
