SWOX - No one was hurt, but significant damage has been reported after a house fire in South-West Oxford.
Fire crews from Mount Elgin and Brownsville were called out to Keswick Road at around 11:30 p.m. yesterday. They immediately noticed smoke and fire coming from the second floor of the building.
Fire Chief Shane Caskanette says they attacked the fire from the outside first before entering the building, and they were able to get it under control.
The residents were able to safely evacuate but they have since been displaced.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
