We could see wind gusts between 70 and 80 kilometres per hour today and tomorrow.
OXFORD COUNTY - It's about to get pretty windy in the Friendly City.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Oxford County with the wind gusts between 70 and 80 kilometres per hour in the forecast for today and tomorrow.
Strong winds can easily toss around loose objects and break tree branches which could cause power outages. High-sided vehicles could also be pushed around by the wind, so make sure you drive carefully.
Officials say the winds should die down tomorrow night or Friday morning.
