Briefs include a theft in Stratford and trespassing in St. Marys.
STRATFORD - Police received a report on a Black Lives Matter sign that was stolen from a porch over the weekend.
They responded to the incident on July 5th after the sign was stolen on Queen Street at some point the night before.
The owner of the sign noticed a suspicious vehicle drive past his house several times that day. The car is a black Audi sedan with dark tinted windows and new blue Ontario licence plates.
Police say the driver got out of the car to take a picture of the sign while shaking their head in disapproval.
It's not known if this person is involved in stealing the sign, however police are asking the public if they have any information regarding this incident to call 519-271-4141 or to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

ST. MARYS - Police say swimming is not allowed at the fishing quarry in St.Mary's after they caught eight swimmers over the weekend.
They also caught a group of people having a campfire. Police say the Fishing Quarry is for fishing only.
Of the eight swimmers who were caught, only two warnings were issued for having open alcohol in a public place.
Police didn't issue any tickets over the weekend, however fines can be issued under the Trespass to Property Act,
or under Municipal By-Law 57-2018, for those who are caught swimming at the Fishing Quarry.
The Swimming Quarry opened yesterday for those who are interested in going for a swim.
There are three swim times allowed each day, allowing for lots of opportunity to cool off at the largest freshwater swimming pool in Canada.
To help with social distancing requirements, only a limited amount of people will be allowed into the Swimming Quarry at one time and you must book swimming times in advance.
