OXFORD COUNTY - The smoke has returned to Oxford.
Environment Canada says high levels of smoke will develop tonight due to forest fires in Quebec and northeastern Ontario.
The smoke will continue into tomorrow with it being especially dangerous to kids, seniors, pregnant mothers, and people with heart or lung disease (ex: asthma). If you start to experience shortness of breath, severe coughing, wheezing, dizziness, or chest pains while outdoors get inside and call your doctor immediately.
We're currently under a special air quality statement in Oxford County and Environment Canada says the conditions should improve Thursday night.
