Southwestern Public Health is looking to speak with the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident on a bike trail near Broadway Street in Tillsonburg on Tuesday.
TILLSONBURG - Southwestern Public Health is looking to speak to the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident in Tillsonburg.
They want to assess the dog for the rabies virus. If the dog is not located, the person who was bit, will have to go through a series of painful shots and treatment as a precaution.
The person was bit on a bike trail near Broadway and North Street on Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. The dog is a mixed breed, similar to a Border Collie. It is black and white with long hair. The dog was with an older gentleman around 60 years of age with salt and pepper hair, slim build and facial hair.
