The Southwestern Public Health Unit has officially entered the Red Control stage of the province's COVID-19 framework.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - The lockdown has ended for the Southwestern Public Health Region.
We officially moved into the Red Control stage of the province's coloured coded framework this morning.
This means restaurants and bars will be able to open, but they can only serve up to 10 customers at a time. Salons and barber shops can also open their doors with capacity limits.
Cinemas and performing arts facilities will remain closed at this time.
Middlesex and Waterloo will also move into the Red Control stage today. Brant County, Huron Perth and Haldimand-Norfolk will enter the Orange Restrict stage.
You can find more information regarding the province's colour coded system online here.
