The active case count is dropping in SWPH, however a record 11 people are in the hospital with COVID-19 locally and a total of 8 people have now tested positive at Caressant Care in Woodstock.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting 12 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and 16 resolved cases.

11 people are currently being treated for the virus at the hospital and 4 of those patients are in the ICU. This data only reflects SWPH patients and is not an indicator of our local hospital capacity. It is a reflection of how many people locally had a sever enough illness from COVID-19 to end up in the hospital or ICU.
An Outbreak has been declared at the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Woodstock with 3 residents and 5 staff members testing positive for COVID-19.
