You won't be able to go swimming at the Southside Aquatic Centre this month. The City is repairing some damage to the pool and it's currently scheduled to reopen on July 3rd.
WOODSTOCK - The Southwise Aquatic Centre in Woodstock is closed for repairs.
Supervisor of Aquatic and Recreation Programs Jason Jolicoeur says the pool will need extensive repairs before reopening.
"We're not sure how big the holes are or how many repairs are needed. We can see some of the holes, but we know once it's drained we can do a more thorough inspection and see where we can repair the damage that's underneath."
The Lions Outdoor Pool is opened early to help accommodate people looking to beat the heat.
The Southside Aquatic Centre is set to reopen on July 3rd.
