Sources close to Premier Doug Ford say premier is considering vaccine passport system.
Premier Doug Ford may reverse course on a decision not to implement vaccine passports.
Sources within the Ford government tell Toronto media the Premier is considering implementing a provincewide certificate system due to a recent spike in COVID-19 cases.
Ford had previously rejected the idea, saying he doesn't want to create a "split society."
The Premier has faced mounting pressure to introduce a system allowing people to signal they've received both shots.
This comes after British Columbia, Quebec and Manitoba announced plans to implement a vaccine passport or certification record.
