Up to 15cms of snow forecast for the weekend
If you're planning on travelling this weekend, or trying to get some Christmas shopping done, be wary of a coming snowstorm.
Environment Canada is calling for the first "widespread snowfall event" of the season.
The system is coming up from the the Southern US, and will make an impact on the Great Lakes Region late Friday night.
The majority of the snowfall will come during the day Saturday. We could see anywhere from 10-15cms of snowfall by Saturday night.
The highest snowfall amounts are expected on the west end of Lake Ontario and on the North shore of Lake Erie.
However, the weather agency also warns areas further north could see higher amounts, depending on the track of the storm.
Motorists can expect poor driving conditions on Saturday.
