Tim Hortons is launching its Smile Cookie campaign today! All of the money raised at the locations in Woodstock, Ingersoll, Tillsonburg, Norwich, Thamesford, and Tavistock will be going to local charities.
OXFORD COUNTY - Tim Hortons locations will be packed today with the return of the popular Smile Cookie campaign.
The chocolate chip cookies with icing cost $1 each and all of the money raised goes to a local cause.
The Tim Hortons in Thamesford will be raising money for Andrew's Legacy. Co-Founder Cara Schmidt says they will use the funds to install AEDs in public places.
"We just want to get the AEDs in as many public places as we possibly can and as fast as we possibly can."
Schmidt says the Thamesford campaign was a huge success in 2021.
"Last year was our biggest year with 15,755 Smile Cookies sold. So we have set the bar really high this year with 18,000 cookies."
All of the money raised at the locations in Woodstock and Ingersoll will be split between United Way Oxford and VON Sakura House.
The Tillsonburg locations will be raising funds for Special Olympics Tillsonburg.
The money raised at the Norwich Tim Horton's will be going to The Caring Cupboard and the Tavistock location is supporting the Wilmot Family Resource Centre.
Smile Cookie sales will end on September 25th.
