Multiple vehicles were taken off the road during a commercial vehicle blitz.
The OPP, the Ministry of Transportation, and Brantford Police stopped 21 commercial vehicles along Highway 24 on Thursday, August 18. Of those 21, 6 were taken out of service including one vehicle's plates being removed due to being unsafe.
Ten provincial offence notices were handed out for charges including driving with a major defect, operating an unsafe vehicle, driving a commercial vehicle with an improper licence, and several others.
