A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Oxford County, Brant County, Middlesex County and Perth County.
OXFORD COUNTY - Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Oxford County, Brant County, Middlesex County and Perth County.
We can expect scattered thunderstorms across the region today; alongside heavy rain, strong winds and even large hail.
Strong winds are known to toss around loose objects, break branches off trees and damage weak buildings. Large hail can also damage property and even cause injury.
Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year, so if you hear thunder roar go indoors!
The severe weather is expected to diminish this evening.
