OXFORD COUNTY - Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for most of the Southwest, including Oxford County.
Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop early this evening, into the overnight. Wind gusts could reach as high as 90 km/h, along with heavy rain.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
