Seven teen are recovering after a pickup truck rolled several times off a Norfolk County road Saturday night.
NORFOLK COUNTY - Norfolk OPP are investigating a serious single-vehicle rollover Saturday night that sent seven teenagers to hospital with minor to serious injuries.
Police say a blue 2001 Ford pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old Norfolk County male was heading south on Marburg Road, just past St. John`s Road, when it left the roadway and rolled several times shortly before 9:10 PM.
Two passengers riding in the open box in the back, a teenaged male and female, were ejected from the truck as it flipped; they were air lifted to a Hamilton hospital to be treated for serious injuries and are currently listed in stable condition.
The driver and his four female passengers, all between the age of 15 and 17, were riding in the cab and suffered minor injuries - but were still transported to hospital to be checked out.
Norfolk County Fire & Rescue along with Norfolk County Paramedics offered their assistance on-scene, and OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) is assisting with the investigation.
Marburg Road was closed for several hours to allow for investigation and clean-up of the collision.
