A former Woodstock pharmacist will be sentenced at the Woodstock Courthouse today after he plead guilty to charges of drug trafficking, fraud, theft, and possession.
WOODSTOCK - A former Woodstock pharmacist learns his fate today after pleading guilty to charges of drug trafficking, fraud, theft, and possession.
Yogesh Patel was arrested by Woodstock Police in June 2016.
The former Rexall pharmacist admitted to forging documents and stealing $100,000 worth of prescription drugs back in April. During the initial bust police seized $35,000 worth of Fentanyl, Hydromorphone, Morphine, Nabilone and Oxycodone from the three homes along with $3,000 in cash.
Patel's sentencing hearing will be held at the Woodstock Courthouse today.
