The Social Planning Council has released the results of their Municipal Candidate Survey on poverty reduction.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Social Planning Council has released the results of their Municipal Candidate Survey.
They emailed all of the candidates in each municipality back in September; inviting them to participate in an online survey about poverty reduction in Oxford County.
Executive Director Stephanie Ellens-Clark would like people to view the results on their website before they head to the polls.
"I am hoping that all community members get out to the polls on October 22nd and exercise their right. The results of this survey can help voters see where their views align with candidates and after the election can serve as a conversation starter about key issues. No one in our community deserves to be left behind."
About 10.8 percent of Oxford County residents were living off a low income back in 2015. You can see the results online here.
