Police are searching for three men who stole from a donation bin in Delhi.
DELHI - Norfolk OPP are investigating after someone stole scrap metal from a donation bin in Delhi.
The steel was taken from the Simcoe Firefighters Association scrap bin on Thursday afternoon. Three men were spotted taking the steel and putting into the back of a truck. A citizen was able to take down their license plate number and police will be following up with the owner of the vehicle.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says that these men could also be charged with trespassing.
"The OPP would like to remind all residents about trespassing laws as well as potential charges of theft when any items are removed off another person's property without their permission. If it doesn't belong to you, then don't touch it or remove it."
