LOS ANGELES - Police in Los Angeles are investigating the death of actor-director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele.
The Los Angeles Fire Department found the bodies of a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, while responding to a medical aid request at a Brentwood home yesterday.
Police have confirmed that their deaths are being treated as homicide and few details have been released at this time. A law enforcement official who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter has stated that the couple was stabbed and a family members if being questioned by police.
Reiner was known for directing The Princess Bridge, When Harry Met Sally, Stand By Me, This is Spinal Tap and more. As an actor, his on screen credits include roles in The Wolf of Wall Street, The Bear, and All in The Family.
