Motorcyclists will be hitting this road this Sunday in order to support the Oxford County Animal Rescue.
WOODSTOCK - The Ride for Rescue returns this weekend in support of the Oxford County Animal Rescue.
Motorcyclists will leave the Woodstock Legion at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday and they will stop in Port Burwell, Port Rowan, and Norwich before heading back to the Legion for lunch.
Foster Coordinator Anna Holmes says there is one other thing the riders should know before they leave.
"This is a poker run which means it's a route that is marked, the riders follow the route, they pick up their poker cards along the route, and at the end hopefully they have a good selection of five cards that make a good poker hand."
It costs $20 to sign up or $25 if you're bringing a rider with you.
This is the first time they have been able to host this event since the pandemic, and Holmes would like to thank everyone for their support.
"We have some great raffle prizes that have been donated from the community and all of the proceeds of the ride always go to the animals in our care."
