WOODSTOCK/TILLSONBURG - IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's is back for another year.
Two walks will be taking place in Oxford County on Saturday May 25th. One will be at College Ave Secondary School in Woodstock and the other will take over Annandale Public School in Tillsonburg.
Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. for both events and the opening ceremonies will get underway at 10:00 a.m..
Leslie Rand, the Director of Development for the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners, says it's more than just a walk.
"Lots of family friendly activities with music, snacks, and food. It's just a great day for people to come out and show our client families that they don't walk alone."
There's no registration deadline, but Rand is encouraging everyone to sign up beforehand so they can fundraise and the organizers know how many people to expect.
"We'd love to have people register online and they can do that on our website alzswp.ca. They can also stop by the office and pick up a pledge form if they would like to do that offline."
You can sign up for the Woodstock event here and for the Tillsonburg event here.
