Raising Funds for a New Playground at Innerkip Central School

The Innerkip Home & School Association is hoping to raise $40,000 for a new playground for the Innerkip Central School.

INNERKIP - Innerkip Home & School Association is hoping to raise $40,000 for a new playground for the Innerkip Central School. 

Amy Weiler says the old playground at the school was taken down last year because it was deemed unsafe.

"The new structure we are currently fundraising for will include wheelchair accessibility to include all current and future students to Innerkip Central School. Currently we have achieved 38% or $15,000 of our $40,000 fundraising goal in just a few short months." 

They are asking local businesses and residents to step up and help raise the funds to build a new playground for the kids.

"We are hoping to ask for further community support in the way of donations to assist in achieving our goal. A donation plaque or banner will be created in place at the school to showcase all donors. 

The Innerkip Home & School Association is a non profit organization, governed by the Ontario Federation of Home and School Association. They are an independent voice of parents and community members to actively support the school through fundraising efforts.

Right now the kids in the primary section of the school, do not have a proper playground to play with.
