The appeal process for convicted murderer Michael Rafferty has been postponed. Rafferty was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Appeal via video today as he continues the appeal of his first degree murder charge in the death of Tori Stafford. He was convicted of murder, sexual assault causing bodily harm and kidnapping in May 2012. Rafferty was sentenced to life in prison with no chance for parole for 25 years. Currently, he is seeking the assistance of a lawyer through legal aid. He is scheduled to appear in court September 10th now.
