The County of Oxford and public health workers represented by CUPE have reached a tentative agreement.
OXFORD COUNTY - A tentative agreement has been reached between Oxford County and the Public Health workers represented by CUPE Local 1146.
The signing of this agreement is scheduled for October 28th and is subject to approval by County Council on November 9th, but at this time a strike has been avoided.
In a release the County thanks the Ministry of Labour-appointed conciliator and the CUPE negotiating team for working toward a resolution.
