The Province confirmed 998 new cases today along with 948 recoveries and 13 additional deaths related to the virus.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 998 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 80,690.
The Province reported 13 new deaths related to COVID-19 today and the total now sits at 3,195. Meanwhile another 948 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 69,137.
The province completed 35,754 tests yesterday. We currently have 381 COVID-19 patients in the hospital and 86 are in the ICU. Most of the new cases are coming from area hotspots with 350 new cases in Toronto, 269 in Peel and 71 in York Region.
