We currently have 30,632 active cases in Ontario after the Province confirmed 3,338 new cases of the virus this morning and 2,756 recoveries.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 3,338 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 219,120.
The total number of COVID-19 deaths after the weekend now sits at 5,012. Meanwhile another 2,756 people have made a full recovery, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 183,476.
The province completed 46,403 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,563 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 387 people in the ICU and 268 in the ICU on a ventilator. These numbers could be higher as the Province states that more than 10% of hospitals did not submit data to the Daily Bed Census.
