Daily case numbers are down today at 2,362 with 3,502 resolved cases and another 26 deaths.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 2,362 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 504,533.
The Province confirmed 26 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,431. Another 3,502 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 468,033.
The province completed 44,040 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,582 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 777 people in the ICU and 560 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from hot spot regions with 691 new cases in Toronto, 563 in Peel, 224 in York Region, 148 in Durham and 112 in Hamilton.
