Daily numbers are well over 2,000 today as the Province also confirmed 1,477 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 2,336 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 347,570.
The Province confirmed another 14 COVID-19 related deaths today, bringing the total in Ontario to 7,351. Another 1,477 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 320,409.
The province completed 36,071 tests yesterday. We currently have 841 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 382 people in the ICU and 236 in the ICU on a ventilator. Well over half of the new cases today are coming from hot spot regions with 727 new cases in Toronto, 434 in Peel, 229 in York Region, 194 in Durham, 144 in Ottawa and 123 in Hamilton.
