Starting today, you will need to provide proof of vaccination to visit a patient at the hospitals in Tillsonburg and Ingersoll.
INGERSOLL/TILLSONBURG - The hospitals in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg have adopted vaccination policies for visitors.
The policy took effect today at Alexandra Hospital and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. It states that all visitors to the hospitals must provide proof of vaccination to see a patient. This policy does not impact patients coming to the hospital seeking treatment or tests.
In a press released the hospitals state that, because of the proven effectiveness of the vaccine against the virus and its variants, they encourage everyone who is eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.
