The Thames Valley District School Board is reporting a positive case of COVID-19 at Central Public School in Woodstock.
UPDATE: Southwestern Public Health has confirmed that the person who tested positive was in the school building recently, which is why an alert was issued. It is not immediately clear if the person who tested positive was a staff member or a student. In an email exchanged with Heart FM, Manager of Communications for SW Public Health Megan Cornwell provided the following information.
"An individual who has since tested positive with COVID-19 was in the school building recently. I can’t give any further details other than that all appropriate protocols have been followed and notifications issued."

WOODSTOCK - A positive case of COVID-19 has been reported at Central Public School in Woodstock.
The Thames Valley District School Board has already notified those who came into close contact with this person and they will have to self-isolate for the next two weeks.
If you didn't get a letter from the school board your child is not considered to be at risk.
