Woodstock Police are looking for a suspect after a sexual assault occurred in the area of Wilson Street and Hounsfield Street on July 14th
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have released a composite sketch of a sexual assault suspect.
Officers say the man approached a woman in the area of Wilson Street and Hounsfield Street on July 14th and asked her for directions. Once she gave that information police say he walked passed her, grabbed her from behind and pulled her off the sidewalk before sexually assaulting her and leaving the scene.
The suspect is described as a black man standing at around 6 feet tall with a slightly larger build, a small unshaven goatee and dark shoulder length corn-row styled hair. Police say he has a tattoo on the left side of his neck and he was last seen wearing a black hoodie. grey baggy sweatpants and black shoes.
