Oxford OPP have released more information about a truck and trailer thought to be responsible for causing a crash on the 401 last week. Police are looking for the owner of a grey or silver pickup truck with a topper, that was hauling a 10 foot long enclosed white utility trailer. This trailer will be missing the fender over one wheel. That fender was on the highway when a car swerved to avoid it, hitting a tractor trailer. A man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, and a woman and two children were injured as well. This happened at around 12:15 Friday afternoon on the 401 eastbound near Sweaburg. Police are looking to speak with the owner of the truck and trailer. The man and a female passenger were changing the tire on the trailer before the collision occurred. They left the scene continuing eastbound before police could speak with them. Oxford OPP can be reached at 519-688-6540.
