WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police had a busy weekend with over 140 calls for service.
One of the biggest crimes happened at the Outdoor Canadian Farm Show where a hydraulic grappler and a hydraulic hammer worth $13,000 were stolen. The theft happened sometime between Thursday and Friday.
Also this weekend a man who had his car stolen in June, located the vehicle at a parking lot in the City. The car still had the owners original licence plates on it and he was able to recover the stolen 2008 Ford Focus.
Two brothers were arrested over the weekend by Woodstock police officers who were on general patrol. The brothers were arrested after they argued with police and one of them allegedly pushed an officer. He was charged assault while his 30 year old brother was arrested and charged with threatening a police officer.
Meanwhile a Woodstock woman was charged with possession of stolen property after she posted some of the stolen goods on Facebook. The stolen goods were binoculars and a gps.
