The Westfield subdivision in Ingersoll will be getting a new playground thanks to PlayRight Playgrounds.
INGERSOLL - PlayRight Playgrounds is bringing yet another playground to the town of Ingersoll.
Over the past couple of years the local organization has been working to construct multiple play spaces so every child in town can easily access one.
Executive Director Dave Cripps tells Heart FM where some other PlayRight playgrounds are located throughout Ingersoll.
"My favourite is Teresa Cameron Playground in Victoria Park, there is the Cheesy Playground beside the museum. There's one in Garnett Elliot Park, Kensington Park and Harrisfield Public School."
Cripps says PlayRight Playgrounds has received financial help from a local insurance company to create their sixth play space in the town.
"We were lucky enough earlier in the year to receive a grant from Heartland Mutual and we're looking to put some equipment in near the Westfield subdivision."
The local insurance company will be honoured somewhere in the playground once it is built. It should be finished by the end of the year, weather permitting. If not it will be complete in late spring.
The playground will cost about $20,000 to construct.
