The Navy Vets celebrated two wins, while the Braves suffered two losses.
PJHL - It was a weekend of wins for the Woodstock Navy Vets
Chris Coulter scored with just under six minutes left to lead the Woodstock to a 4-3 victory on Friday. The Vets also celebrated a 3-1 win over the Dorchester Dolphins yesterday. Nolan Brett tied the game in the third period and Connor Stanley scoring the game winning goal with just over six minutes left.
Meanwhile, the Tavistock Braves suffered a 5-2 loss to the New Hamburg Firebirds on Friday and a 6-2 loss to the Dolphins on Saturday.
The Norwich Merchants only had one game over the weekend, where they beat the Wellesley Applejacks 5-1.
The Firebirds currently sit on top of the Doherty Division standings with 60 points, followed by the Merchants with 58 points, the Navy Vets with 55 points, and the Applejacks with 44 points. The Dolphins sit in fifth place with 37 points, the Titans are in sixth place with 27 points, the Braves are in seventh place with 24 points, and the Shamrocks sit in last last with 18 points.
Over in the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans doubled the Lucan Irish 6-3 on Friday but fell to the Mount Brydges Bulldogs 6-4 on Saturday.
The Trojans sit in sixth place in the Yeck Division standings with 40 points. They're behind the North Middlesex Stars with 45 points, the Port Stanley Sailors with 47 points, the Bulldogs with 49 points, the Exeter Hawks with 50 points, and the Petrolia Flyers with 55 points.
