The Woodstock Navy Vets celebrated a 4-3 overtime win over the Hespeler Shamrocks on Friday.
PJHL - Another win for the Woodstock Navy Vets!
They beat the Hespeler Shamrocks 4-3 in overtime on Friday. Ethan Szabo scored with 50 seconds remaining in overtime to secure the win for Woodstock.
Meanwhile, the Tavistock Braves fell to the New Hamburg Firebirds 5-3 on Friday and celebrated a 2-1 win over the Shamrocks yesterday.
The Norwich Merchants beat the Paris Titans 5-2 on Friday and the Wellesley Applejacks 3-1 on Saturday.
The Navy Vets currently sit on top of the Doherty Division standings with 41 points. They're followed by the Firebirds with 35 points, the Braves with 28 points, the Merchants with 21 points, the Shamrocks and the Applejacks with 17 points each, and the Titans with 10 points.
In the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans suffered a 5-2 loss to the Exeter Hawks on Friday. The Trojans are in fourth place in the division standings with 34 points, behind the Dorchester Dolphins, the Mount Brydges Bulldogs, and the North Middlesex Stars.
