The Doherty Division could be down to the final two teams after tonight.
PJHL - The Woodstock Navy Vets will be back on the ice in the Provincial Junior Hockey League Playoffs.
Game 5 of their Doherty Division Semi-Final series against the Norwich Merchants is scheduled for tonight (Friday, March 22nd) at Southwood Arena and the puck will drop at 7:45 p.m.
The Vets currently lead the series 3-1 and with a win tonight, they can punch their ticket to the Doherty Division Final. A loss for the Vets tonight forces them back to Norwich on Sunday afternoon for game 6. If the game on Sunday has to be played, puck drop is set for 1:30 p.m. at Nor-Del Arena.
In the other Doherty Division Semi-Final, the New Hamburg Firebirds are taking on the Hespeler Shamrocks, and the Firebirds have a 3-1 series lead.
Game 5 of that series is set for tonight in New Hamburg at 7:30 p.m.
If the Vets and Firebirds come away with victories tonight, it would set up a battle of 1st vs. 2nd to see who is the best in the Doherty Division.
