The Oxford County teams in the PJHL will finish up their schedules and head into the holiday break this weekend.
PJHL - The regular season in the Provincial Junior Hockey League will head into the holiday break after this weekend.
The Oxford County teams will be looking to collect some wins before much-needed rest. The Woodstock Navy Vets will be at home tonight as they welcome the Dorchester Dolphins to Southwood Arena with puck drop at 7:45 p.m. Then tomorrow, the Vets hit the road to Wellesley to take on the Applejacks at Bill Gies Recreation Centre, and game time is 7:30 p.m.
Next, the Norwich Merchants are at NOR-DEL Arena tonight as they take on the Tavistock Braves. The puck drops at 8 p.m. The Merchants are on the road tomorrow night for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop as they visit the Paris Titans at the Brant Sports Complex.
Moving to the Tavistock Braves, they, as previously mentioned, will be in Norwich tonight to take on the Merchants at NOR-DEL Arena at 8 p.m. The Braves return to the Tavistock and District Recreation Centre tomorrow night for a 2:30 p.m. start and will welcome the New Hamburg Firebirds.
Lastly, in the Yeck Division, the Thamesford Trojans hit the ice at the Thamesford Area Recreation Centre tonight at 7:30 p.m. as the Petrolia Flyers come to town. Then, tomorrow, the Trojans make their way to Mount Brydges to battle the Bulldogs at the Tri-Town Ice Arena, and game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
