Pittock Conservation Area opens for the 2015 season today.
WOODSTOCK - It's Opening Day at the Pittock Conservation Area in Woodstock.
The gates open up this morning at 8am for another season at the Park.
Pittock has over 250 campsites available and are touting some upgrades to the washrooms. Also new this year is a boat launch dock and a separate boat launch for canoes and kayaks. The park also offers visitors 5 km's of hiking and biking trails.
Some of the big events coming up at Pittock this season include the Hike for Hospice on May 3rd and the Doors Open Oxford on May 30th.
The Upper Thames River Conservation authority is also gearing up for opening day at the Fanshawe and Wildwood conservation areas.
