Perth OPP briefs include a garage entry in St. Marys and a theft from a construction site in West Perth.
ST. MARYS - Perth OPP are investigating after someone stole tools and other items from a garage in St. Marys.
They say the suspects entered the unlocked garage on Water Street early yesterday morning.
Officers are reminding homeowners to make sure their doors and windows are closed and locked, adding thieves look for insecure properties in rural and urban areas at all hours of the day.
They recommend leaving exterior lighting on when possibly and have a friend of neighbour check in on your property if you're going to be away for a while.

WEST PERTH - Perth OPP are on the case after $6,000 worth of tools and construction equipment was reported stolen from a construction site in West Perth.
Police believe the thieves forcibly entered the construction trailer on Perth Line 34 early yesterday morning.
