Two kids were yelling and playing around in an elementary school parking lot when three men, who were passing by in a car, thought they were yelling at them. One of them threatened one of the kids with a knife before getting back in the car and leaving.
PERTH COUNTY - Perth County OPP are looking for a suspect following an incident in Listowel last week.
Two kids were walking on Nichol Avenue South on September 28th in North Perth and were playing around by yelling out loud while in the parking lot of an elementary school.
When a car passed by it is believed the three men thought the youths were yelling at them. The driver got out of the vehicle, where he brandished a knife, and threatened to one of them. The suspect got back in the car and left. Nobody was injured.
The suspect is described as approximately 5'7", wearing a black flat hat, black hoodie, grey jogging pants and an earring.
The vehicle was a black Honda Civic with three men inside.
While the investigation is ongoing, OPP wants to remind the public to always be aware of their surroundings and personal safety.
