Lots of families will be flocking to Paris this Labour Day long weekend for the 159th annual Paris Fair.
PARIS - The 159th Paris Fair is currently underway at the Paris Fairgrounds.
Campbell Amusements has set up their popular midway alongside multiple exhibits.
Grandstand entertainment includes a performance by the Craz-E-Crew BMX Stunt Team and freestyle motocross displays. Cheryl Muir, the Manager of the Paris Agricultural Society tells Heart FM about the evening entertainment they have planned at the grandstand.
"Friday, Saturday and Monday we have demolition derbys and our feature of the year is the James Barker Band concert on Sunday night."
Muir explains how the James Barker Band concert will be extra special.
"In celebration of our 159th year and Canada's 150th birthday we have decided to include the cost of the concert in our $13 admission at the gate."
Daily admission is $13 for an adult, $8 for youth ages 11 to 15, $5 for kids ages 6 to 10 and kids 5 and under are free. Weekend passports are $50 for adults, $25 for youth ages 11 to 15 and $15 for kids ages 6 to 10.
The fair kicked off on Thursday and it will wrap up on the holiday Monday. You can find more information online here.
