Parents will no longer be informed when another student in the classroom tests positive for COVID-19. PCR testing will only be available to students who develop symptoms while at school. Cohorts will no longer be dismissed in the event of a positive case. This practice is happening across the country, due to the rapid spread of Omicron.
Another thing parents will need to know is changes to the screening. Students will not be allowed in class if they have a sore throats, runny noses or headaches and will need to stay home until their symptoms improve.
