Pancakes and sausage will be on the menu at South Gate Centre's 16th annual Prediction Breakfast.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock's favourite groundhog is getting ready to come out of his den for South Gate Centre's 16th annual Prediction Breakfast.
The pancake and sausage breakfast will begin at 7:30am Friday morning, and Chilly Charlie should be making an appearance shortly after 8am.
Operations Manager Felise Jones explains how his annual prognosis works.
"If Charlie sees his shadow then it is going to be a late winter. If he does not see his shadow he comes on out and that means it's going to be an early spring."
Charlie predicted a late winter last year.
Tickets for the breakfast will cost $3 a person, but kids under 5 will get in for free.
Jones says all of the money raised will stay in the community
"Proceeds as usual for our fundraising goes to programs and services for adults 50+ in the Woodstock area."
All of the fun should wrap up at 9am.
