Police have confirmed the woman killed in this mornings tragic crash was from Oxford County.
Police have identified the woman who was killed in this morning's tragic crash on Highway 401.
50 year old Kimberly Coordes of South West Oxford Township was declared deceased at the scene. She was killed when a transport truck lost a tire heading east bound on the 401 near Putnam Road. The tire actually bounced a few times, jumped the median before hitting her car heading West bound near the Putnam scales.
Members of the OPP Technical Collision Investigation, Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit and Middlesex Fire Department were all brought in to investigation and traffic was backed up all morning as a result of the collision.
