A reminder has been sent out by Oxford OPP. During a traffic stop in Norwich Township, several Provincial Offence Notices were issued. As a result, officers want to make sure motorists are aware of the licensing requirements and limitations before driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Ontario Provincial Police's Oxford detachment wants to remind motorists to be aware of the licensing requirements and limitations before operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle.
On Thursday, July 27th, police were on general patrol and observed a vehicle that brought attention to the officer, resulting in a traffic stop on Evergreen Street in Norwich Township.
Several Provincial Offence Notices were issued to the driver and the company contrary to the Highway Traffic Act, and the vehicle was placed out of service.
